I'm Gus, Founder of Runtime, where teams set guardrails and visibility to let anyone ship with coding agents.

I co-founded Mentum, a YC-backed AI startup building agents for supply chain teams, which was acquired by Nuvocargo in 2025. Before that, I worked as a quant at BlackRock.

I grew up across different countries, taught myself to code in high school, and have been building ever since.

Outside of work, I'm an endurance cyclist, curious reader, and long-time student of history, geopolitics, and investing.
