I'm Gus, Founder of Runtime (YC P26), the AI agent harness for fintech operations teams. We work with some of the fastest-growing fintechs in the world, which move hundreds of billions of dollars a year. Our agents power their mission-critical payment and risk operations.

I'm an AI engineer and second-time YC founder. I previously built Mentum (YC S21, acquired) for Latin America's largest asset and wealth managers, handling $20B+ in AUM data and 120k transactions a month. Before that, I was a quant in BlackRock's AI Quantitative Investment Group.

I grew up across different countries, taught myself to code in high school, and have been building ever since.

Outside of work, I'm an endurance cyclist, curious reader, and long-time student of history, geopolitics, and investing.
